Description: Printed policy for the ship ‘Anne Gally’ for goods and merchandise, to sail from London to Jamaica; the Master of the ship is William Reade. The broker is Jacob Brandon of London. Although this policy relates to the wider slave economy and goods being sent from London to support the colonial plantations in Jamaica, a ship known as the ‘Anne Gally’ was also a slave ship with six slave voyages 1707-1732.
